This policy explains what data the Avento Chrome extension collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the extension, you agree to the practices described below.
Who We Are
Avento is a browser-based activity tracking tool developed and operated by Reda Essnoussi. It is designed exclusively for call center agents and their managers to track work activity time in real time.

Data We Collect
The extension collects only the data required to deliver its core function — time tracking for work activities. We collect nothing beyond that.
Account information
- Email address — used for login and identity
- Password — transmitted securely to authenticate; never stored by the extension
- Name and assigned role (Employee or Manager)
Work activity data
- Activity type (ticket, break, lunch, toilet, or other)
- Ticket ID entered by the agent
- Start time, end time, and duration of each activity
Session data
- Authentication token — stored locally via the browser's storage API to keep the agent logged in between sessions
How We Use the Data
Data collected by the extension is used exclusively to:
- Authenticate agents and managers securely
- Record and display work activity timers and ticket durations
- Calculate daily statistics — tickets handled, average TMO, break time
- Allow managers to view and manage their team's activity history
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics services, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single function.
Data Storage and Transfer

Session tokens are stored locally in the browser using the
chrome.storageAPI - Activity data is transmitted over HTTPS to the Avento backend server
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party outside of the Avento service
- All data transfers are encrypted in transit using TLS
Permissions Used
The extension requests the following browser permissions. Each one serves a specific, necessary purpose:

Data Retention
Activity logs and account data are retained for as long as the account remains active. Managers can edit or delete individual activity entries at any time from the manager dashboard.
To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at redavan95@yahoo.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Avento is designed for use by employed adults in a professional workplace setting. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
